Interesting site. I disliked it a lot at the beginning, but by the end, I found it tolerable.

Summary:

Seeqpod is a music search engine. Users can type in any song or artist and find news, audio, and news about the artist. Video and songs can also be viewed and listened to, and users can make playlists from the music. A user can find any song and then create a playlist of a quality stream.

Pros:

• Can search information about artists and songs
• Can listen to songs, watch videos, etc
• Can search for songs and then create a playlist
  • Playlists can be saved and added to a user’s profile
• Ability to limit the type of search results
  • Audio, video, news, etc
    • Can get any combination of these
• Song quality is high
• Podcrawler is pretty cool because it shows what other people are searching
• Tells user if the band is on tour
• Songs and playlists can be shared by emailing to friends
• Code is given to embed songs
• Seeqpod can be embedded into blogs or pages to use the search functionality

Cons:

• Very cluttered
• Lots of ads taking up space and confusing the
  • Ads are right in the middle of the search results
• No link to go back to homepage when searching
• Took me about 10 minutes to realize that clicking on a song in the search while another one is playing adds the second song to the queue
• Design is boring to look at
• Can’t queue videos
